VolksFest | September First Fridays
Friday, September 3, 5 – 9 p.m.
The “Volks” are gathering again in downtown Goshen, as September First Fridays marks the long-awaited return of VolksFest!
Volks of all ages are invited to enjoy a showcase of Michiana-owned Volkswagen Buses and Beetles on Washington Street, along with amazing downtown Goshen offerings on Friday, September 3.
All of the usual First Fridays fun will be on tap from 5 to 9 p.m. – food trucks, a beer tent, live music, and in-store promotions.

- An interactive display of live fish from the Elkhart River by Daragh Deegan, City of Elkhart Aquatic Biologist
- A kid-friendly water cycle activity by The Elkhart County Soil and Water Conservation District.
- Information about a new sensory trail launching this month, the Climate Action Plan, and Tree Canopy goal.
- The Stormwater Department will have information about the Elkhart River watershed.

Stop in for our First Fridays dinner special! We’ll be making Pork Schnitzel with Mashed Potatoes and Braised Reb Cabbage.
Cornerstone Christian Fellowship (110 South 5th)
Join us for free chili-cheese dogs on the lawn! We’re excited to host the community, so please stop by CCF and have a hot dog meal as you make your rounds greeting friends and neighbors while supporting our local downtown community. We’re serving from 5 – 7:30 p.m., or until we run out.
