Meet the Author | June First Friday

Fables Books will host James Pauley Jr., author of Bumpy Rides and Soft Landings, from 6–8 pm for an Author Meet & Greet. Pauley’s memoir is full of humorous and poignant stories about growing up different and learning important lessons from unlikely sources such as a chili dog, a nasty queen, a cursing coworker, a Porta-Potty, a stranger’s judgment, a sore butt, a new piano, a tiny scar, a grieving widow, and a hateful bully. His memoir is both heartwarming and deeply engaging and the perfect book to pick up in honor of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month.
