Savor Summer Showcase | September First Fridays

Friday, September 1, 2023, 5 – 9 p.m.

The Savor Summer Showcase is a sampling of everything good about the warmer months, and revelers of all ages are invited to this ‘sayonara to summertime’ soiree!

The streets of downtown Goshen will be alive with a roaring demonstration of Ford Mustangs, music and dance performances, activities for kids, shopping specials, a summer-to-fall fashion show, and a general assortment of warm-weather action.

Participating restaurant specials, food vendors serving up tacos, bbq, and treats from around the world, and the First Fridays beer garden will also be in the mix for this event—which might be your last chance this year to enjoy Downtown Goshen in shorts and a t-shirt, so make it count!

Bring your dancing shoes to the First Fridays stage for Los Ortega, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Entertainment

One of Goshen’s favorite bands, Los Ortega, will provide the Savor Summer Showcase soundtrack with live music, and a special fashion show and spotlight will feature summer and new fall items from Downtown Goshen’s boutiques. Be sure to drop by the Mustang Showcase for your fill of hot rides!

Check out the Mustang Showcase on Main Street between Washington and Jefferson sponsored by Eby Ford. (Please note registration is full.) This is a closed showcase, and we will not have space for day-of registrations.

At 6 p.m. on the First Fridays stage, the Summer-to-Fall Fashion Show will spotlight outfits and ensembles. Goshen boutiques and clothiers I M SHE, The MAC, Kozahz Boutique, and Jules Boutique will all participate, with the help of the stylists and beauty mavens from Goshen’s Salon J, Fused 508, and T’s New You.

Area restaurants will feature a selection of summertime food and drinks. A beer garden featuring some of our best local breweries will satiate your thirst. And don’t forget the many food trucks—there’ll be no shortage of ways to fill your belly at the Savor Summer Showcase!
