In June of 2026—as a prelude to our upcoming 20-year anniversary in June of 2027—we party like it’s 1999 with the First Fridays Birthday Bash! In celebration of 19 years of outstanding First Fridays programming and incredible community participation, we turn our excitement amplifiers up to 11 for this one!

Live wrestling in the square, kids’ activities, music and entertainment, food trucks, the Viewrail Obstacle Course, and birthday treats are just a few items on the Birthday Bash agenda. Help us celebrate our 19th birthday—and ramp up for our 20th, in 2027—at the Birthday Bash in Downtown Goshen.

Eat and drink at your favorite downtown restaurant and check out our lineup of food trucks when you need a break!
- Cool off with a Blended Horchata or Cookies n Cream Milkshake at Electric Brew!
- Get a free soda at the Wild West Soda Truck at the 100th Anniversary Party at Wellington and Weddell!
- Head to Cortado for their French Twist: a toasted, buttered croissant filled with Crystal Springs vanilla ice cream, homemade hot fudge, and whipped cream, topped with a cherry!
- Celebrate with Birthday Cake Popcorn at Shirley’s Popcorn!
- Stop by the Maple City Market table on festival grounds for an ice-cold popsicle!
Don’t forget to recycle! Head to the Recycling Center on festival grounds to take care of any collected recyclables.

Young ones and their families can enjoy a collection of free activities at participating merchants and on-site vendors.
- Visit with Teddy, Loveway’s resident miniature pony!
- Test your skills at the Viewrail Obstacle Course!
- Young adults can enjoy free activities at the Chill Zone presented by Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County and DJ Construction, including cupcake decorating!
- Garden City Church will be hosting free crafts and activities for the whole family, plus free treats to make the celebration even sweeter!
- Head to ADEC’s booth for a guessing game and coloring pages!
- Paint your own pottery with The Hunny Pot Studio!
- Head to The Post for a Water Balloon Fight from 5 to 7 p.m.!

Silver Circle
The Silver Circle, presented in part by Greencroft, Green Oaks of Goshen, Goshen Health, and Senior Talk Michiana, is a dedicated space designed as a welcoming gathering place for older adults. The Silver Circle creates an inclusive, comfortable environment that blends resources, connection, and entertainment in one centralized location.
This month, folks can enjoy:
- FREE birthday treat, provided by Pastries by Steph, to the first 50 seniors (55 and older)!
- Tunes provided by Vinyl Habits
- Birthday card decorating hosted by Young at Art from 7 to 8 p.m.
Handicap Parking will be available directly behind the Silver Circle on West Washington. Senior transports may also use this space with advance notice. If you plan on bringing your senior clients, please contact us as soon as possible via our contact form.

- Ride down with the family and park your bikes for FREE at our complimentary Bike Valet station, presented by the Pumpkinvine Trails Coalition!
- Parents and guardians can enjoy the Goshen Health Mother’s Tent, which offers a comfortable space to nurse and change your littles!
- Take advantage of the designated Handicap Parking located behind the Silver Circle.
