Friends and fans—just a reminder that DGI First Fridays presents the fabulous Fire and Ice Festival, on Friday, January 5, in Downtown Goshen.
Throughout the day, watch professional ice carvers—beginning their work at noon—transform 300-pound blocks of ice into pieces of art and time-bound sculptures throughout downtown.
In the evening, from 5-8 p.m., fire dancers light the backdrop of Goshen’s night sky and perform wondrous stunts and kids can come royally dressed to have their picture taken sitting on the ice throne or ice sleigh.
Downtown Goshen businesses, retailers, and eating and drinking establishments are prepared—should it get too cold outside—to warm up First Fridays revelers with great food, warm drinks, and outstanding shopping deals, and complimentary marshmallows are available for roasting and toasting over an outdoor fire!
The Fire and Ice Festival has something delightful for everyone, including activities and entertainment for the young and young-at-heart, great food and drink options, and specials and promotions with participating downtown businesses and merchants.
Public ice carving starts at noon and event festivities are from 5-8.
Join us as we usher in 2024 with a January First Fridays bonanza of family, friends, and fun!
