Bexbach Bash | September First Fridays
Friday, September 5, 5 – 9 p.m.
Downtown Goshen comes alive with a fun and festive First Fridays version of Oktoberfest, celebrating our sister city in Germany!
An Oktoberfest stein holding contest, Hammerschlagen, live music, Goshen Brewing Company brews, and delicious delicacies, are just some of the exciting activities to be held on the Elkhart County Courthouse grounds.
Entertainment
Shopping specials, entertainment, and delicious foods and drinks, including Bavarian brews and delicacies, are on the Oktoberfest agenda, and an Oktoberfest costume contest adds to the fun! And be sure to check out the Volkswagen Showcase happening on Main!
Enjoy free entertainment from the Miller Poultry Main Stage, and presented by the Elkhart County CVB!
- 5:30 – 6 p.m. – Rebel Noire and the Accomplices
- 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Jake Miller and the Midwest Heat
- 8 – 9 p.m. – Grupo Marca Grande
Look out for Janus Motorcyles while on the festival grounds! There, you can find and play the classic German game Hammerschlagen (18+) all while checking out their bikes! And don’t forget to dress in your best dirndl or lederhosen for a chance to be entered into the Bexbach Bash Costume Contest! Those wishing to participate can enter anytime between 6 and 7 p.m. in the Beer Garden. Costumes will be judged based on theme appropriateness, family-friendly (no obscene imagery or profanities), creativity, and overall aesthetic. Winners will be contacted following the event.
