November First Fridays | Goshen Light Parade
Friday, November 6, 2026
Downtown Goshen comes alive with color, creativity, and community spirit this Friday, November 6, as the annual Goshen Light Parade, the centerpiece of November First Fridays!
The free, family-friendly celebration takes place from 5 to 9 p.m., bringing together illuminated floats, festive storefronts, seasonal food and beverages, special shopping opportunities, and activities for visitors of all ages.
One of Goshen’s most anticipated annual traditions, the Goshen Light Parade begins at 7 p.m., transforming Main Street into a procession of glowing floats, decorated vehicles, and imaginative illuminated displays. Local businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, clubs, and community groups help light up the night, celebrating the creativity and connections that make Goshen such a vibrant community.

The celebration extends well beyond the parade route. Downtown restaurants and food trucks serve hearty seasonal favorites, merchants welcome holiday shoppers with special promotions, and local businesses showcase their creativity in the Downtown Business Light Display contest, featuring a Snow Globe theme.
Visitors are encouraged to explore downtown and vote for their favorite illuminated storefront, and can warm up with seasonal comfort foods, soups, specialty drinks, and other cold-weather favorites at downtown restaurants and food vendors throughout the evening.
Among the dining specials, Cortado, at 132 South Main Street, features its steak sandwich on a house-made baguette with marinated skirt steak, provolone, arugula, chimichurri, and horseradish, and ONE VILLAGE Fair Trade—206 S. Main—features Soup of Success cookies and invites visitors to become cookie taste testers.
Food vendors scheduled to participate include Ojitos Lindos, Rulli’s On Wheels Pizza, La Cocinita, Heavenly Brewed, Tropicana Ice Cream, Wiener Shack, Hay Huey, and Sweazy Q.
Families can also stop by Garden City Church, 134 S. Main, during First Fridays for free hot chocolate and a complimentary children’s activity. Combined with the spectacle of the illuminated parade, the evening offers plenty of opportunities for families to enjoy downtown together.

November First Fridays also offers an opportunity to get an early start on holiday shopping while supporting Goshen businesses. Downtown merchants feature seasonal merchandise, festive window displays, and special offers throughout the evening.
