March First Fridays Demonstrations and Entertainment
Karaoke & Sloppy Joe’s
Come hang out with us for March’s First Friday – the live performer is you! You can sing for your supper, or be serenaded. We will serve till 7:30 (or until we run out) and karaoke will go till 8. So warm up your vocal cords and come see us. The game room will be open.

Deanna Minnick
Goshen City Church presents Deanna Minnick as First Fridays entertainment. Deanna will play inspirational, classical, and modern music. A baked potato bar along with toppings and hot and cold beverages will be available while listening to the great music of Deanna Minnick.

Art Demos
Come see LIVE art demos and artwork featuring LOCAL artists! We will also have a free kid’s art activity.

Ralph Bower Carving
Check out the Ralph Bower carving of a leprechaun at the museum. He is a lively fellow and sure to conjure up a tale or two in your imagination. Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to come to the museum to listen to a story regarding leprechauns this month. Retired teacher Karen Weeber has an interesting tale to tell about these March imps! There will be a carving demonstration in the museum as well.

Linocut Printmaking Demo
Join us during the Goshen First Fridays Live and Local event from 5 to 8 p.m. and watch the owner and designer, Jasmine Wall, do a live demonstration of linocut printmaking technique.

Launchpad Mini Demo
Join Tyrus in creating music with Novation’s newest Midi Controller, the Launchpad Mini, and the included Ableton Live Software.
5:30 – 7 p.m.
Soapmaking Demo
Stop by for a live soapmaking demo. We’ll be showing how we make soap at 5:30, 6:15, 7, and 7:45 p.m.
Participants must be age 10 or older and must wear goggles. Group size is limited.
We’ll show the process on a Facebook Live at 7 p.m. for younger participants or for those who don’t wish to wear protective gear.

The Ncube Sisters
Come to Ten Thousand Villages and hear the Ncube sisters perform! GHS students Bongiwe and Ongeziwe, from Zimbabwe, will sing and accompany themselves on guitar.

Meet Ray Boomhower author of To Be Hoosiers: Historic Stories of Character & Fortitude during Goshen’s March 1st Friday from 6-8 pm. To Be Hoosiers releases February 3, 2020, and will be available in store both prior and during the event. Also on hand to sign her newest title The Making of a Multiple Personality II: Splintered is Shana Dines local author and artist. As a survivor of abuse, Shana works to help others overcome their experience with abuse and violence

March Fundraiser Dinner
Come join us at The Window for dinner before you browse all of the fun Live and Local items and performances! Dinner is from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and will be served by The Well Church this month. All proceeds from dinner go to support the important programs at The Window. Dinner for adults costs $9 and for children $5.
