Spend the day shopping and dining around downtown Goshen on Friday, May 6, for a chance to win gift cards and a variety of items from local businesses.
Goshen’s May First Fridays event, Eat, Drink, Shop, invites the community to collect receipts from visits to three different downtown retailers — proof of having done all three! — to enter to win even more Goshen goods and services. Purchases at participating stores and restaurants can be made throughout the day on May 6.
Receipts must be submitted between 5 and 8:30 p.m. at Ignition Music Garage on that Friday to be eligible to win.
“With the Eat, Drink, Shop event, the community is called to collect experiences around downtown and show the receipts!” Event Director Adrienne Nesbitt said. “We’re hoping this giveaway will incentivize visitors to downtown to extend their time in member stores and expand the number of stops they make while they’re here.”
Individual retailers will also offer their own sales and promotions throughout the day, including a Mother’s Day sale at Ten Thousand Villages and a children’s sparkle cupcake activity at The Imagination Spot. Goshen Theater will play host to the Goshen High School art show, as well.
