Meet the authors! We’re excited to have two amazing local authors signing their books during First Fridays.

Susannah Larry, an assistant professor of biblical studies at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, leads fellow survivors and those who care for them in a journey toward reclaiming the Bible amid the trauma of sexualized violence. Leaving Silence: Sexualized Violence, the Bible, and Standing with Survivors is an unflinching examination of sexualized violence in the Bible and the God who stands steadfastly with survivors. Larry addresses biblical experiences of coercion, familial betrayal, and self-blame while also illuminating God’s constant care and concern.

Fantasy romance readers, fall in love with Kira Metzger’s A Luna’s Dark Past. Artemis believed she was just a normal teenager with simple problems. But one terrifying night her whole world turned around. She went from being a normal teenage girl to something she never believed existed.
