Spring Into Action

Friday, April, 1, 5 – 9 p.m.

Downtown Goshen springs into action by supporting community charities, with participating stores selecting their favorite local nonprofits to receive 10 percent of sales throughout the day on Friday.

Shoppers can also learn more about how their purchases benefit the larger community at various locations where charities have been invited to set up.

The Beacon Health Teddy Bear Drive runs April 1 – 18, collecting donations of new stuffed animals. Each child that comes to the hospital receives a stuffed buddy to hug during their time at the hospital. 10% of our sales go to buying Teddy Bears

Lacasa is a nonprofit housing agency, with programs to help clients achieve financial stability, find a new home, prevent foreclosure, find affordable rentals, get home repair assistance, immigration counseling, and neighborhood engagement. Lacasa believes that every family deserves safe affordable housing!

We are a fair trade retailer of artisan-crafted home decor, personal accessories, and gift items from across the globe. We feature products from artisan groups in developing countries throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East, and are part of a network of retail outlets in the United States selling Ten Thousand Villages crafts.

Soup, Salad, and Games

You’re invited to join us as we prepare our families for Easter. We will be making Resurrection Gardens. Dinner will be served from 5 – 7:30 p.m. Soups and salads are on the menu.

Our game room will also be open. We are located kitty-corner from Tony’s Grill, and as always there is no charge. We look forward to seeing you!

Meet Anne H. Berry and Regina Shands Stoltzfus

Anne H. Berry co-authored The Black Experience in Design which spotlights teaching practices, research, stories, and conversations from a Black/African diasporic lens.

Regina Shands Stoltzfus co-authored Been in the Struggle which nurtures challenges and fosters the work and witness of dismantling racism for the long haul.

Both authors will sign their book from 6 pm – 8 p.m.
