Highlights

Bringing the heat – look for fire dancers performing throughout the evening, warming stations, and delicious hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and toddies at local cafés and bars.

  • Fire Dancers in the alleys on Main Street, between Jefferson and Washington, and between Washington and Lincoln.
    Fire dancer Dana Nicole LaDuct of South Bend and performers from Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Pyroscope Entertainment provide entertainment throughout the evening including flaming hoop dancing, fire-eating, and juggling.
  • Warming Stations next to Reverie (201 South Main) and Jojo’s Pretzels (136 South Main).
  • Ice Sculpture carving at these locations.

January First Fridays Promotions

EAT Goshen (119 East Lincoln)

EAT brings you a spicy burger, called the Ay Chihuahua! Chihuahua cheese, jalapeños, egg, mayo, hot sauce.

Meet the Author! We’re excited to have Goshen College graduate Naun Lucoer Cerrato from 6 – 8 p.m. during Downtown Goshen’s First Fridays.

Cerrato’s The Magic Book of Isabela (El libro mágico de Isabela) is a fantasy adventure story currently available in Spanish and soon to be available in English.

We’re bringing the heat with a spicy chili special!

The Imagination Spot (111 East Washington)

Come in and color your own fiery dragon or fluffy yeti character from 5 – 8 p.m.

These characters are ready to come to life with your creativity! P.S. There will be glitter involved.
