Fire and Ice Fest 2021!

Saturday, February 27

Event Schedule

11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

  • Ice carving in the historic downtown district
  • Fire dancers performing throughout the day

Professional Ice Sculptures

For the first time, downtown Goshen hosts its annual ice-sculpture celebration in February. Visitors always enjoy watching professional ice carvers transform 300-pound blocks of ice into exquisite sculptures that defy gravity and imagination. The team of professional Michiana Ice Carvers are eager to chat with you about their work. So, don’t hesitate to ask them questions and learn more about this unusual art form.

Food, Beverages, and Shopping

In downtown Goshen, it is easy to find a warm place to thaw your chilly fingers and toes at one of the many retail shops, restaurants, and specialty stores that make downtown Goshen so delightful.

Check our downtown business directory for a full list of member businesses that will be open during the festival. If staying outside is your preference, the event provides several warming stations.

As you visit downtown businesses during the event we ask that you respect the COVID-19 policies at each establishment.

Fire

Bringing the heat – look for fire dancers performing throughout the day, warming stations, and delicious hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and toddies at local cafés and bars.

This outdoor event is designed with family fun, artistry, and community health and safety in mind.

The sculptures will be spaced throughout the downtown district so you and your family can view works in progress while keeping a respectful, healthy distance from others.
