Downtown Goshen Street Closures
For some First Fridays events, DGI asks the city for permission to close streets to encourage and accommodate more visitors downtown. The following is a list of proposed upcoming closures.
2026 Street Closures
Fire & Ice Festival
Friday, January 2, 2026
East Washington between the alley and Main, noon – 11 pm. 2 parking spots in front 117 East Washington, noon – 11 pm. First 4 parking spots on East Washington (north side of street), 8 a.m. – noon for unloading ice blocks.

Goshen Gives Back
Friday, March 6, 2026

Green Day Celebration
Friday, May 1, 2026
Main Street between Clinton and Lincoln, and the half block of Main Street from Lincoln to the alley south from 1 to 11 p.m.
6 parking spots on the north side of Lincoln next to the courthouse from 1 to 11 p.m. for First Fridays vendors.
8 parking spots on the south side of Clinton next to the courthouse, from 1 to 11 p.m., for bus and handicap parking.
