At this Friday’s Goshen Gives Back event, Downtown Goshen, Inc. delivers the chance to experience fun, family-friendly First Fridays festivities, enjoy and support downtown businesses, AND help raise funds for Goshen-area nonprofit organizations that do important work in our community.

Nothing beats giving back and helping others! At Goshen Gives Back—this Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.—enjoy Downtown Goshen and spend money for a good cause knowing that a percentage of your First Fridays purchases at participating locations will be donated automatically to a Goshen-area partner charity.

Select downtown merchants host activities for the young and young at heart that are dedicated to unity, community spirit, and giving back. Downtown Goshen’s unique eating, drinking, and shopping options ensure that Goshen Gives Back is a good time for all—and ALL for a good cause!

Join us downtown this Friday to have some fun, and do YOUR part to raise funds for Goshen-area charities, at Goshen Gives Back!

At Goshen Gives Back, community participation is on FULL display. Select businesses offer specials and in-store promotions, and participating merchants, restaurants, and bars donate a percentage of their First Fridays sales to a partner charity.

Found, 208 S. Main St., donates 10 percent of its First Fridays event sales to the Goshen Historical Society, and Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn—106 N. Main—donates 10 percent to Ryan’s Place, a nonprofit organization that provides grief support to children, teens, and families. 

Woldruff’s Footwear & Apparel, 129 S. Main, donates 10 percent of its First Fridays sales to Elkhart County cancer support ministry, Ribbon of Hope, and Fables Books—215 S. Main—donates 10 percent of its sales during Goshen Gives Back to The Window, a Goshen nonprofit organization that works to provide services and meet the essential needs of anyone with a limited income. 
      
Goshen Brewing Co., 315 W. Washington St., donates 10 percent of its sales during Goshen Gives Back to downtown’s Goshen Theater. Originally opened in 1905, the Goshen Theater is a renovated, historic 600-seat theater available to the community for productions, events, weddings, and meetings.

Food, festivities, AND family fun!

In addition to donating 10 percent of its First Fridays sales to The Window, Fables Books presents a Meet the Author event from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring three authors—Amanda K. Gross, Marie Lee, and Meredith Oswalt—sharing powerful stories of resilience, justice, and transformation.

The Goshen Historical Museum, 124 S. Main, invites First Fridays revelers from 5 to 8 p.m. for a final chance to view artwork by John Blosser, and young ones and family can enjoy a collection of free activities at Downtown Goshen locations—including free kids activities and complimentary treats at Garden City Church, located at 134 S. Main. The Tropicana Ice Cream and Wiener Shack food trucks are also on-hand at Goshen Gives Back.

Goshen Gives Back, this Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., is a First Fridays celebration of community spirit and family fun that also supports local charitable giving! Fun, family-friendly festivities and great food are on the agenda at Goshen Gives Back, and downtown shops and businesses spotlight specials, discounts, and in-store events. Participating restaurants, bars, and merchants who’ve sponsored a Goshen-area nonprofit donate a percentage of their sales to their partner charity. Have fun with friends and family and feel free to shop for a good cause at Goshen Gives Back!
