Goshen Gives Back | October First Fridays
Friday, October 4, 5 – 9 p.m.
Eat, Drink, and Shop for a cause in October, and simultaneously support your favorite downtown business and Goshen nonprofit. Visit participating restaurants, bars, and merchants who’ve sponsored a Goshen-area nonprofit, and 10% of your purchase on First Fridays will be donated to the partner charity. Select downtown businesses will host activities for kids on this evening dedicated to getting together and giving back.
Entertainment
Eat, Drink and Shop for a cause! Support your favorite downtown business and Goshen nonprofit at the same time. Participating businesses will be donating 10% of their sales to a local non-profit of their choice.
- Stop by the Art Alley to chat with the GHS German Club!
- Goshen College hosts Connectapalooza! at the Goshen Theater from 5 to 9 p.m. Stop by for a pretzel bar, a special Goshen Brewing Company beer release, live music, pictures with Dash the Squirrel, local artists, and a special announcement to kick off homecoming weekend!
- Listen to some great music from the Lost Luggage Trio at Goshen City Church of the Brethren starting at 5:30 p.m.

Food and Drink
Take a break and enjoy some great food downtown!

- Try the new flavor of the month at Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn, Circus Cookie!
- Drop by Maple City Market for their Fall Faire for a beer and wine sampling alongside delicious treats!
- The Nut Shoppe offers buy two get one free on caramel apples and brittle!
Kids Activities
Look for free kids activities at participating stores!
- Create your own bookmark at Fables Books from 5 to 7 p.m.!
- Enjoy fun, fall games and crafts hosted by CAPS at Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn!
- Young at Art offers interactive art activities for all ages at Maple City Market!
- Take a selfie at the fall photo booth located inside the Goshen Historical Society!
- Phoenix Performing Arts will have free face painting and free crafts throughout the evening. Be sure to also get some hairy tinsel while you are there!
