Savor Summer Showcase | September First Fridays
Friday, September 6, 2024, 5 – 9 p.m.
The Savor Summer Showcase is a sampling of everything good about the warmer months, and revelers of all ages are invited to this ‘sayonara to summertime’ soiree!
The streets of downtown Goshen will be alive with music, activities for kids, shopping specials, a summer-to-fall fashion show, and a general assortment of warm-weather action.
Enjoy free entertainment from the Miller Poultry Main Stage!
- 5 – 6 p.m. – Shark Sugar
- 6:30 – 7 p.m. – Fall Fashion Show
- 8 – 9 p.m. – The Messengers
Entertainment
This might be your last chance this year to enjoy Downtown Goshen in shorts and a t-shirt, so make it count! Returning to the Savor Summer Showcase, is the summer-to-fall Fashion Show, live music, a mechanical bull, an Off Road Vehicle Showcase and an assortment of family-friendly fun for all!
- Make a stop at the Viewrail Dunk Tank to help raise money for Ryan’s Place!
- The Evergreen Singers will be in concert from 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm at the Goshen City Church of the Brethren.

Food and Drink
Area restaurants will feature a selection of summertime food and drinks. The First Fridays Beer Garden presented by Elephant Bar will be open to satiate your thirst. And don’t forget the many food trucks—there’ll be no shortage of ways to fill your belly at the Savor Summer Showcase!
- The Window will be serving up an Italian meal from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Stop by El Imperial for street food throughout the evening!
- Constant Spring will feature their Bánh mì-oh mi Burger and a Cinnamon Apple Fizz.
- Celebrate 10 years of Maple Indian Cuisine with their buffet all day!
Kids Activities
Bring the entire family to experience this family-friendly event. The Savor Summer Showcase will feature a variety of activities for kids; including free crafts. The Chill Zone, presented by DJ Construction and the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, will have Virtual Reality, games, and snacks on hand to entertain all visiting young adults!
- Create your own bookmark at Fables Books from 5 to 7 p.m.
- SOLVE, SCAN, and SCORE in Goshen Health’s Emoji Puzzle Challenge! Eight puzzle banners will be scattered throughout the event. Find the puzzles, scan the QR code on the banner to submit your answer, and win fun prizes!
- The Hive of Light will feature magic and balloon animals from 5 to 7 p.m. At 7 p.m, join them in the Art Alley for a magic show by Kevin Long!
Downtown Business Promotions
As the end of summer approaches, stores offer Labor Day sales and show off their new fall releases. Be sure to stop by the Fashion Show on the First Fridays stage for a taste of what you can find in stores!
- Meet the Authors at Fables Books from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Stop by the Liverpool Try-On event at Woldruff’s and enter to win a free pair of Liverpool jeans!
- Enjoy live music and a wine tasting at Maple City Market!
