A few things to note before your arrival

Show cars will enter the Goshen Brewing Company (315 West Washington) parking lot from West Washington and will be directed to a parking spot. Please do not enter from the Lincoln Avenue entrance.

Look for the “Show Car” signs and volunteers in red “Event Staff” t-shirts. They will direct you to a parking spot. Please follow their instructions.

Please do not move barricades or enter from anywhere other than the indicated entrance.

Parking

All parking is first come, first served. Specific areas cannot be guaranteed.

Please remember that your show vehicle must remain parked until the conclusion of the event at 4 PM with the exception of serious emergencies. If you have an emergency, please let someone from the event staff know, and we will direct traffic to help you exit the show. Otherwise, please plan to stay for the entirety of the event.

Any vehicles joining you that will not be entering the car show will need to park in any of our public lots away from the car show grounds. Please note that the parking in the remainder of this lot will be reserved for customers of Downtown Goshen businesses and Goshen Brewing Company. This will be strictly enforced.

Check-in / Registration

You will check-in with our volunteers at the information table to receive your number and pay any unpaid fees. Fees can be paid with CASH only. Pre-registered vehicles will be the only vehicles permitted.

Times

You may begin arriving any time after 1:30 PM and before 2:30 PM.
Cars arriving before 1:30 will have to wait outside the festival grounds until registration and parking is open.
The event begins at 2 PM and ends at 4 PM.
People’s choice voting will happen between 2 and 3:30 PM.
Awards will be announced at 3:45. This quick awards presentation will be your only chance to know if you have won, so please do not miss it.

Car Show Rules

Vehicle must run independently (no towing)
No broken or chipped glass
Vehicle must be free of leaks and other major mechanical issues that may leave behind hazardous materials
No burnouts
No bribery
Assigned vehicle number must be fully visible at all times
This is a rain or shine event – no refunds. Your fee goes to help keep First Fridays alive!

Car Show Etiquette

Vehicle interior should be clean and free of debris
No hate speech or politically affiliated stickers or decor (American flags are great!)
No props or decor outside the vehicle
No tents or canopies
You are welcome to bring a chair to sit beside your vehicle
Do not touch other vehicles without the explicit consent of the owner
Please be kind and courteous to all staff and volunteers. This car show is brought to you by the community and a non-profit organization. Anger, cursing, physical threats, etc., will not be tolerated at this or any other First Fridays event. Anyone found in violation of this will be asked to vacate the event grounds immediately (without refund) by staff or police.
