Find the holidays early in the heart of Goshen’s downtown at the merry First Fridays event, Hometown Holiday, December 2, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Shop a festive, open-air holiday market featuring locally made, seasonal crafts — wreaths, cards, ornaments, and candles — at the City Art Garage, located on the corner of Jefferson and Main. Have children’s photos made with Santa at Fables Books, and take advantage of a host of free family activities, including ornament-making and cookie decorating, sponsored by participating downtown businesses.
Finally, sing carols alongside friends and neighbors at 6:30 p.m. just before the community tree lighting with Goshen Mayor Jeremy Stutsman.
Rulli’s on Wheels, The Wiener Shack, and The Electric Brew Mobile Espresso Trailer also provide additional hot food and cozy drink options for revelers as they shop — and celebrate — downtown.
