Hometown Holiday on Friday, December 1, from 5 – 9 p.m., is a festive and moving First Fridays event that brings the community together for holiday fun and to join hands, hearts, and voices in celebrating the holiday season and the spirit of giving.
Friends, family, loved ones, and neighbors unite in the heart of downtown Goshen to sing carols on Main Street and discover the many wonders of shopping at the holiday market—located at Goshen Theater, 216 South Main.
Seasonal foods and drinks, and sweets and treats (Christmas cookies, anyone?) are on the menu at participating eating and drinking establishments, and the main event—the Hometown Holiday community tree lighting ceremony, on West Washington Street—commences at 6:30 p.m.
Join us this Friday for a holiday extravaganza of family and fun!
To further the spirit of giving, downtown businesses highlight affordable items under $30, and some participating retailers offer $5 and $10 coupons to Hometown Holiday revelers. Santa comes to town to take free holiday pictures with kids, who can learn all about the joy of holiday giving by taking part in one of Hometown Holiday’s make-a-gift crafting opportunities.
