April weather may be dreary, but Downtown Goshen will be vibrant with colors on April 5th during the annual Arts Tour. Once again, we’re excited to showcase the colorful and cheerful works of Mark Daniels Arts. Mark specializes in painting happy birds and delightful flowers that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Additionally, we’re excited to have two local authors at Fables Books from 6 – 8 pm. If you have little ones, don’t forget to participate in our free kids’ bookmaking craft hosted by Triple P of Elkhart from 5-7 pm.
Meet the Authors:
Jim Stump, Vice President of BioLogos and host of the podcast “Language of God,” has written a new book called “The Sacred Chain.” This thought-provoking and eye-opening book engages readers in an open dialogue between theology and science. If you enjoyed reading “Sapiens,” “Walking the Bible,” and “The Language of God,” this book is for you.
Gary Sieber, known as the “Weather Poet” on WNDU-TV, will join us to kick off Poetry Month with his book “The Weather Could Be Verse.” Gary co-anchors First News Saturday Morning and occasionally fills in for his First Alert Weather colleagues on WNDU-TV. His poetry collection is a delightful showcase of the best of his weather poetry.
