On December 3, seasonal gifts and crafts will be on sale at a merry, open-air holiday market from 5 to 8 p.m. Select downtown retailers will host children’s craft-making activities indoors, with Santa available for photos throughout the evening at Fables Books.
Finally, Mayor Jeremy Stutsman will be on-hand to light the downtown Christmas tree at 7:30 p.m. with the assistance of a community young person on behalf of INterra Credit Union’s Hometown Giving holiday service project.“This year’s December First Fridays gives our neighbors the gift we’ve all been waiting for: a return to celebrating the holidays together,” Adrienne Nesbitt, Event Director, said. “Downtown Goshen can’t wait to host this Hometown Holiday, an entire evening of food, music, and events wrapped up and waiting for the community to enjoy!”
Children are invited to create and decorate their own ornaments at Ignition Music Garage, The Imagination Spot, and Meraki Art Company. Holiday jewelry making for kids will also be offered at Twisted Britches, with EA Pro Music DJs providing an outdoor holiday score for shoppers.
The Rulli’s Pizza food truck will return again to its location in front of the Goshen Theater, rounding out First Fridays food options, already expanded with last month’s opening of creative burger-and-fries destination, Biebs and Ash.

November First Fridays tour participants have the opportunity to get to know and purchase art directly from the artists who create it.
