Wheels and Deals is this Friday from 5-9 p.m. in downtown Goshen, and the 2024 version of this freewheeling First Fridays event is going to pay you back in Forever Memories with friends and family!
Presented by Downtown Goshen Inc. and Friends of the Pumpkinvine Trail, Wheels and Deals celebrates the Maple City’s welcoming and supportive stance toward bicycles and pretty much anything on wheels. Attendees are encouraged to arrive on their choice of wheels, and—thanks to an awesome lineup of sponsors—this First Fridays event provides some complimentary wheels the whole family can enjoy: live music by none other than national touring band The Steel Wheels!
Show up on your ride for seasonal items and summertime deals at our many indoor and outdoor First Fridays vendors. Participate in family-friendly activities like the First Fridays virtual reality Chill Zone. Spend quality time with friends at the First Fridays Beer Garden—hosted by Goshen Brewing Company—and enjoy all the great eating and drinking spots Downtown Goshen has to offer.
Live, free entertainment, headlined by The Steel Wheels, includes opening performances by Goshen’s Sadie Gustafson-Zook and Goshen-based band Sanchez Agency.

Wheels and Deals features food trucks, including Kona Ice and Tropicana, and presents a dining area in which to enjoy the plethora of downtown dining and drinking options. The Window offers a $10 Haystack dinner from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m., JoJo’s Pretzels features a delicious strawberry beverage, and Goshen Brewing Company taps a special beer release at 3 p.m. The limited edition craft beer, Hop on the Vine, is a honey blonde ale made in collaboration with Friends of the Pumpkinvine.

Family-friendly festivities include the virtual reality Chill Zone, sponsored by DJ Construction and the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, and a free bookmark-making activity from 5-7 p.m. hosted by Fables Books and Triple P. Wheels and Deals also includes riding adventures specifically geared to the youngest of riders.

Downtown shopping specials, business promotions, and in-house events are also part of the June First Fridays mix. Woldruff’s Footwear & Apparel offers 10% off, storewide, throughout the day, and Goshen City Church of the Brethren presents live music with the Boomer Boys from 5:30-7:30. Find Waldo around downtown Goshen for a chance to earn discounts and prizes at Anna Flora Co, and Fables Books presents a session of Meet the Author—with James Pauley Jr.—from 6-8. Maple City Market offers free bike tune-ups from noon to 6 p.m., and Elephant Bar provides a DJ for a thrilling, post-concert afterparty.
An assortment of booths, including an Info Table, free Bike Valet, and a Mother’s Tent, are also on hand to provide assistance and information to First Fridays attendees.
