Downtown Goshen gives back in April with First Fridays event Spring Into Action, as participating retailers donate 10 percent of sales to local nonprofits serving the community.
On Friday, April 1, stores and restaurants invite Goshen to shop and dine in service to the greater good. Retailers will donate a portion of sales throughout the day to an area charity of their choice. Various participating nonprofits will set up downtown to share more about their work with First Fridays visitors from 5 to 9 p.m.
Among the business and nonprofit pairings for April’s Spring Into Action:
“With Spring Into Action, member businesses have a chance to express their support for the great good being done in our community by generously partnering with a local charity,” Event Director Adrienne Nesbitt said. “This First Fridays is close to our heart not only because our members open theirs, but visitors have a chance to learn how they can serve and support a cause meaningful to them, too.”
A complete list of businesses and local charities participating in Spring Into Action is available at Downtown Goshen online or on Facebook.
