A local fashion show turns the spotlight on fall trends, with more fun for the whole family found just off the downtown runway, too, as part of First Fridays Harvest Festival on October 7 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Goshen retailers IM She, Twisted Britches, Kozahz, Woldruff’s Apparel, and Jules Boutique join forces to hit the First Fridays stage at 6 p.m. with dozens of fall fashion looks. Live music from Los Ortega, the six-piece dance band with a sound straight out of Northern Mexico, follows immediately after, starting at 7 p.m.
Fire pits, a petting zoo, and pumpkin decorating are all free for families throughout the evening.
Harvest Festival‘s kick-off to fall on October 7 also coincides with homecoming weekend festivities for Goshen College. This magical combination of events connects the community from campus to downtown on a once-a-year night of fall fun.
Food vendors Rulli’s on Wheels, Weiner Shack & Grill Food Truck, Tropicana Ice Cream Shop, and Golden Star Kettle Corn will be on-hand to keep friends of First Fridays fed. And attendees are also invited to swing through Goshen Theater‘s open doors for additional special events planned throughout the evening.
A full line-up of October First Fridays events for Harvest Festival can be found online at Downtown Goshen.
